We are excited to kick-off our Girls on the Run season at Cottonwood Elementary School and hope to engage girls and their families with a positive lifestyle program! The physical activity and healthy lifestyle focus of GOTR will reach the girls who participate in the program as well as their families plus our volunteer coaches within the school and the community.

We are seeking a couple more coaches to join the fun! You do not have to be a runner to get involved J If you can commit to this rewarding cause, contact: amber.cox@mcsd.org!

Spring online program registration for girls in grades 3-5 will be open January 21st and run through February 10th  (depending on space availability). Details can be found online at www.gotrwesterncolorado.org.  The program fee is $55 per participant and includes 20 lessons delivered by trained coaches, a GOTR t-shirt, entry for the end-of-season 5K, and end-of-season awards and celebrations.  No girl is turned away due to financial restrictions, and scholarships are readily available.

Practice Days are Tues. and Thurs. from 3:05-4:30 at CES, Feb. 26th-May 2.
